The kindness one receives from a teacher like the mountain and the sea. “Meeting
at Guangdong University of Technology” of Tsinghua tour —— Zou Jike's works
exhibition, on September 9th, grandly opened at three p.m. in Guangdong
University of Technology of art and design institute exhibition hall.
The leading guests attended the opening ceremony were: Mr. Zhang Xiangwei,
the former president of Guangdong University of Technology, Mr. Tang Yaoping,
the discipline inspection commission secretary and
deputy party secretary of Guangdong University of Technology, Mr. Luo
Shengjing, the Minister of Propaganda Department of the school party committee,
and Mr. Qiu Jianming, the director of the school retirement service.

of Fine Arts, vice president Mr. Cheng Yao, vice president Mr. Luo Wenyong, associate

The opening ceremony
was also attended by teachers from college and brother college
teachers, painters, artists and guests of the painting academy.
On the opening ceremony, first the vice president of the Guangdong Artists
Association professor Sun Li delivered a speech, and Zou Jike delivered a speech,
then president Zhang Xiangwei delivered a speech and announced the opening of
the exhibition.
This exhibition has been strongly supported by the Propaganda Department of
the school party committee, the personnel department and the college. A total
of 49 masterpieces and the representative works of Zou Jike were exhibited,
which were carefully selected by the tutors of the Academy of Fine Arts,
Tsinghua University.
The painter Zou Jike
said: an exhibition, is an art of life in summary, as a visiting scholar in
Tsinghua University for a year, the spirit of unremitting self-improvement
social commitment affected me deeply. I only in Tsinghua in writing diligently to
repay the many years cultivation of Guangdong University of Technology and the
Institute of art for me. Today is the first exhibition of personal work in my
life, and it is also a new starting point in my life. I hope to be able to gain
the correction of the leaders and guests, and let me walk farther and wider on
the art road of life.
