The day before,
jointly hosted by the Tsinghua University of Academy of Fine Arts Painting
Department, Guangdong Province Artists Association and the Guangdong University
of Technology, “Tsinghua Tour - Zou Jike’s Works Exhibition” opened at the
Tsinghua University, Academy of Fine Arts, the works exhibited lasted to 24th.
"Tsinghua Tour——Zou
Jike's Works Exhibition" is the first exhibition of a visiting scholar Zou
Jike in Academy of Fine Arts. He studied from 2014 to Tsinghua Academy of fine
arts senior research class, and continues to visit in Tsinghua University as a
visiting scholar. The exhibition includes 45 works, including oil painting,
watercolor and sketch works. It is not only the result report of Zou Jike's
further study and visiting achievements, but also the author's summary of
artistic life.
Zou Jike’s tutor,
Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts painting department director Zheng Yi
pointed out in the evaluation, Zou Jike put his own perspective, positioning in
the familiar real life, let us relive the reality that was stripped of the
memory, and enrich the picture with the smell of the soil, exudes the fragrance of the scene.
Zou Jike, a native
of Maoming, Gaozhou, got a bachelor's degree in literature from Guangzhou
Acmdemy of Fine Arts in 2007. He graduated from post guaduate Academy of Fine Arts of Sichuan Normal University in 2010,
and got a master's degree in literature. In 2015, he graduated from the
advanced training class of Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts of oil
painting department.
He is currently the director of the teaching
and Research Department of watercolor painting of Guangdong University of
Technology, guest teacher of Guangdong Academy of Fine Arts, Guangdong painting
and calligraphy couplet senior academician, Guangdong Artists Association
member, China Buddhist painting and calligraphy academy professional painter.
